Smile & Rain Quotes
GOOD BODY LANGUAGE:
My therapist said that smiling is good body language, however if someone is sitting with their arms crossed at their chest, it means one of two things depending on the circumstances. One is that they could be cold or two, they are closed off. Say you are having an discussion - crossed arms means they aren't open to what you have to say. She said that the body language of JOY is the most open!
the GOOD BOOK:
Deuteronomy 12:18 = You are to rejoice before the Lord your God in everything you put your hand to.
1 Samuel 12:24 = Be sure to fear the Lord & serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.
Psalm 16:11 = You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Psalm 30: 5 = For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for life. Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning!
Psalm 30: 5 = For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for life. Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning!
Proverbs 31:25 = She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at days to come.
Revelation 5:8-9 = … the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song!

GOOD MEMORIES!
Sarah H. said she loved my smile when I was a teenager!
One of the nicest things my 2nd sister P. ever did for me was to send me a card with a picture of Jesus holding a baby in his arms after my first pregnancy miscarriage. I got great comfort in believing that our baby was in the arms of Jesus in heaven.
Our son and I studied hospitality in homeschool. Click here for a copy of it. He still offers a drink to our guests when they come to visit.
WOW! Our son actually said "Good Morning" to me as he was passing through the kitchen on the way to his shower. He got my attention - so much so, I almost missed saying "Good Morning" back! 😊
Dinner with my husband's family at their favorite restaurants - Habanero's and Cracker Barrel!
GOOD NEWS!

GOOD SONGS!
Sang a song in church by Haldor Lillenas which was published in 1924. I had to add the first stanza into my positivity book. It goes like this:
1. O, my heart sings today, Sings for joy and gladness.
Jesus saves, satisfies, takes away my sadness.
Guilt is gone, peace is mine, peace like a river.
Jesus is wonderful, mighty to deliver.
Refrain:
Wonderful, wonderful, Jesus is to me!
Counselor, Prince of Peace, Mighty God is He!
Saving me, keeping me from all sin and shame,
Wonderful is my Redeemer; praise his Name!

Count your blessings, name them one by one!
GOOD SAYINGS & QUOTES:
When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile!
Be the reason someone smiles today!
"One of the 'good' things God created you to be is a loving parent." ~ (Danny Huerta, Vice President of Parenting & Youth at Focus on the Family."
"Loving our kids through their imperfections can be difficult, but love is measured by what you are willing to endure with another person. God provides the recipe for enduring love in 1 Corinthians 13 - Patience - Self Control - Humility - Listening - Kindness - Gratitude. When you feel your capacity for love has been drained, remember that you are God's masterpiece, created for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10). ~ (Danny Huerta, a fellow imperfect parent!)

"That professional with a chip on her shoulder - it's her fear that may be driving the criticism. Let it remain with her and not take ownership of it. . . Filter the criticism -- is it constructive or not? If it is constructive you have access to a free training session. It is constructive if they criticize your work, not you, so don't internalize it. . . Listen and learn - If you have a toxic person in your life, don't ask them what they think. Ask people who will help you grow. Smile if someone likes my work, cause that's a bonus. If they don't, that's their problem. . . Giving constructive criticism - Start positive. Be practical. Keep the criticism to the person's work. Don't aim in the direction of the person and end on a positive note!" ~ (Roisin O'Farrell, Irish Artist)
May your day be filled with good thoughts, kind people, and many smiles.
GOOD WORDS TO REMEMBER!
Humility, ROFL (rolling on the floor laughing), SMILE!
GRATITUDE!
I'm thankful that nurse at Urgent Care told me to go straight to the ER. I'm thankful that the ER was open and for all the nurses, technicians and doctors who tested me and diagnosed me with something called "community pneumonia." I'm thankful for email and for my praying friends and family. I'm thankful for technology - research, medicines, soft tissues, and a nebulizer to help me breathe and get well. I'm thankful for moments of sleep!
