I just read an article this morning in my good news feed about a time capsule found in the cornerstone of a building dating from the post Revolutionary War days. I was thinking that this positivity journal that I'm compiling is a time capsule in its own way. A least one of this year which I'm almost half-way through.

GOOD NEWS!

One of my friends got a new address!

THE HOLY WORD!

Psalm 16: 1-3, 5-9, 11 = Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge. I say to the Lord; apart from you I have no good thing." I say of the holy people who are in the land, "They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight... Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body will also rest secure... You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Psalm 141:3 = Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; Keep watch over the door of my lips!

Proverbs 12:20 (TLB) = Joy fills the hearts that are planning for good.

Proverbs 15:13 = A Happy Heart makes the face cheerful.

Proverbs 16:24 = Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Isaiah 60:18 = No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls SALVATION and your gates PRAISE!

Isaiah 62:10 = Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations.

Ezekiel 36:26 = I will give you a NEW HEART and put a NEW SPIRIT in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Acts 2:25, 26, 28 = David said about him: "I saw the Lord before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad & my tongue rejoices; my body will also live in hope. You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.

Romans 16: 17 = I urge you brothers to watch out for those who cause divisions & put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

Philippians 13:12b, 13b, 4:1 = I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. . . But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead. . . You should stand firm in the Lord.

"In every encounter we either give life or we drain it; there is no neutral exchange." ~ Brennan Manning.

Internet Definition: "Good Fences Makes Good Neighbors - Good neighbors respect one another's property. Good farmers maintain their fences in order to keep their livestock from wandering onto neighboring farms or out into a road."

PRECIOUS MEMORIES:

1.) I saved my little sister's life! We had moved to a new house in a new neighborhood. It was so new that the street behind us was still in the process of being built. I was about 4-5 years of age and my younger sister was about 2-3 yrs.  Dad told us as we went out the back door to play, not to go down to the next street as it had rained the day before and he was afraid the basements would be full of water. Well, my sister decided that she wanted to see a basement of water and I told her no, that dad said we weren't to go down there. I remember at that moment, I was going to go off and do my own thing, but something told me to follow her because she would not be dissuaded from going to have a little peek. It's a good thing I went with her because she leaned over too far and tumbled into the water which was over her head. I managed to grab one hand and then another and planted them on top of the wall. I couldn't pull her out, because she was too heavy, so I told her to hang on and I was going to get dad. She wailed and said she couldn't, but I told her she had better, so I ran as fast as my little legs would carry me and followed dad back down to the basement. He ran like Roger Ramjet and pulled my sister up out of the basement looking like a drowned rat. It wasn't too long after that, that Dad persuaded all the neighbors to invest in chain link fences for their backyards to keep the kids safe

2.) Dad took us to see the Shawnee Indian Mission in Fairway, KS.

3.) Change of Address -- The city enveloped us within its folds and changed our address to a new one.

4.)  Girl Scout Memory -- song we learned - "Make New Friends, But Keep the Old, One is silver, and the other's gold!

5.) My husband and I were protected from harm by an "angel" cow!

STEPHANIE ACKERMAN & DOCUMENTED FAITH!

1 Samuel 16:7 = the Lord looks at the heart.

"Appearance doesn't reveal what people are really like or what their true value is. Fortunately, God judges by faith and character, not appearances. While everyone can see your face, only you and God knows what your heart looks like." ~ Stephanie Ackerman

Ephesians 2:10 = for we are God's handiwork.

I was invited to an online Revelation Wellness Meet-Up Bible Study. It was about the Power of our Words. I wrote down the Bible verses that was used during our meeting:

James 3:9-10 = With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise & cursing. My brothers, this should not be.

Genesis 1:3a, 6a, 9a, 11a, 14a, 20a, 24a, 26a, 29a = And God said...

Genesis 1:26 = Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.

Hebrews 1:3 = The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.

John 1:1-4 = In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life and the light was the life of men.

Proverbs 18:21 = The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Ephesians 4:29 = Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Proverbs 10:21 = The lips of the righteous nourish many...

Ecclesiastes 5:6 = Do not let your mouth lead you into sin.

Psalm 19:14 = May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Proverbs 31:26 = She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

  1. Wonderful positive thoughts and I wish you luck with the new diet plan. I don't think I could even find a lot of those things you CAN eat in our local grocery stores. And I love my chocolate. The one health food store that was fairly close is no longer in business.

    1. Giving up my Russell Stover chocolate candy made with stevia and my favorite Quik Trip Peach Tea was indeed hard. smile! My husband ordered some carob for me though through online Walmart to be delivered to our local store and I'm finding lots of recipes to use it with at Pinterest. I've posted some of my substitute finds in previous posts. Thank you for your comment. Made my day.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe. (Hebrews 12:28).
